Ozzy: Vocals

Ozzy was raised a preacher's son so being acclimated to music was an almost daily occurrence growing up. He grew up writing poetry as well as some short limericks and even having a small stint with a couple bands but both were short lived. He always loved music and his passion for heavy metal/hardcore music grew with some friends into the underground music scene. There it grew to what it is now.  The passionate message that he delivers now talks about the battle of souls that is going on right now and happening to many of us while we don’t even know. He also writes of his undying profession of faith and his family has played a key role.  The strong bond he possesses with his band stems from love for his family and the support of his loving wife and three beautiful children. From one of his songs, he states, “Time to awake”. There needs to be an awakening, a lifting of the veil. The verses below are what he talks about……
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord …..  Put on the whole armor of God…. we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."--Ephesians 6:10-12

Mike: Rhythm and Lead Guitar

Mike started playing music at five years old, playing his first gig at 7 in his parents church.  Growing up trained in sight reading and music theory landed him in his first full-time bar gig at 13 years old.  Playing across New York state in cover bands ranging from jazz to blues to classic rock and everything in-between, he went out on his own with his first original band in 2003.  Playing in several local bands over the next few years, he was often on the same bill as Bone Jar, and when a slot on guitar opened up he jumped at the opportunity.  "I love these guys, this band, this music" says Mike about his gig in Bone Jar  " Playing in this band is amazing, I think I' be here for a while."

Darrell Harrington
Bass Guitar

Darrell started playing guitar at 15 years old. His first band was Parasite with brother Dale. He was also in Hammer Mill from 1995 - 2000, Superjak from 2000 - 2003 (which was managed by Billy Milano) and has been in Bone Jar since 2003.

Favorite Bands: Pantera, Metallica, Testament, Overkill, Hatebreed, Seputura, Pro-Pain, Slipknot, Anthrax, Megadeth, Deftones, AC/DC, Nothingface, Biohazard, and White Zombie.

Favorite Movies: Blazing Saddles, Waterboy, Talledaga Nights, Hachiko, Super Troopers, Happy Gilmore, Animal House, The Hangover, The Simpsons, and Caddy Shack.

J.C.: Lead and Rhythm Guitar

JC Holleran started playing guitar at age 14. He was relentless with learning the instrument through his teenage years and later became obsessed with honing his song writing skills. Music is his passion and song writing is of the highest importance. His style combines raw emotive themes in which everyone can identify with unique textures and melodies that keep things fresh. He has been in many bands in the area throughout the years including; The Visionary Project, Superdrive, Self Made Self, and the Armageddon Monks.  JC joined Bone Jar in May of 2009 and they have been relentless in spreading their positive message ever since. JC brings a dichotomy of aggression and melody to the beast that is Bone Jar and there is no stopping this triumphant force.

D.C. Waite: Percussion

D.C. started playing drums at age 10 and played his first gig at 15.  He has had many musical influences throughout the years,  including: Slayer, Iron Maiden, Seputura, Tool, Metallica, Megadeth, Soulfly, Hatebreed, Mudvayne, Madball, Deftones, and The Dave Mathews Band.  D.C. joined Bone Jar a little over six years ago.  He has enjoyed playing in the band, and is looking forward to the future.  D.C. also has a huge passion for the New York Yankees!
